I’m a semi-professional Latina model and have a few years of experience in many different types of modeling. My real name is Alexia and my modeling name, Mz. Sexia, came from my friends combining the words “sexy” and “Alexia.” Maybe it’s obvious but I love to share how my name came about anyway. I’m a real down-to-earth person, and anyone who knows me personally would tell you the same. I’m not stuck up, just confident! I’m also a real bookworm and I’ve always been known as an intelligent girl. I’m kindhearted and love to make people laugh. I’m actually quite a goofball, and also a little clumsy. I am primarily of Mexican heritage but also have roots from the Cherokee, French, and Scandinavian cultures, which is probably why I’ve been told I have an exotic look. My family is from all over the Southwest U.S.A. — California, New Mexico, and Texas. I reside in Los Angeles and I love it! The city is so rich in culture and is saturated with opportunities of all kinds. I’m a recent graduate of a prestigious southern California university; I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in preventative medicine. I’m not currently working in the medical field but plan to seek further education in the future. One of my goals is to become a physician assistant and work with kids.
\nI’m a homegirl at heart. I use calo regularly in my everyday conversations, am a convicted eye- and lip liner abuser (lol), and I absolutely LOVE lowriders! I love them and the culture they represent. My favorites are 1959 and 1963 Chevrolet Impalas. But I don’t discriminate! Anyone who spends the time and dedication building these beautiful cars gets props from me! As a young girl I always dreamed of gracing the pages of Lowrider Magazine, and the past year has become the time of realization of this dream. My first appearance as a feature model in the magazine was in the December 2006 issue, and I am extremely proud to announce the release of the November 2007 issue, which features me as the cover girl! It’s truly a dream come true, and I feel so fortunate to have such an honor. I am also very proud of my cover of Streetlow Magazine (issue #48, released earlier this year), which was my first cover, as well as my several other features in magazines like LoCompany and Traditional Lowriding.<\/p>\n
