NOVEMBER 16th 2013<\/p>\n

On Behalf of Hoopshots TV and all of our members we would like to thank the Staff At Dorsey High School for allowing Hoopshots Students Becoming Teachers Mentor ship program \u00a0to participate in the Alumni Basketball Extravaganza , and that is exactly what it was . Their were 5 games including a celebrity game that yours \u00a0truly Victor Battle was allowed to play in I even caught a dunk it was lots of fun.<\/p>\n

The Hoopshots\u00a0\u00a0Half time show was during the girls varsity vs. Alumni girls game the adults were victorious however the students never gave up.<\/p>\n

The students won the\u00a0Varsity boys \u00a0vs. the Alumni men game \u00a0they were just too fast great job in preparing your team coach.<\/p>\n

I would like to extend a special thanks to coach Sherlett Newbill she treated\u00a0Hoopshots \u00a0with the utmost respect such a hard worker and so dedicated to the students . She gave us the JV girls and coach Chris gave us the\u00a0JV \u00a0boys for the \u00a0halftime show.\u00a0 They put on a excellent show and had a blast I hope to do another \u00a0game with them during the season.<\/p>\n

Big ups to my Hoopshots model mentors for attending rehearsals and the events your selfless attitudes\u00a0are Paramount to the success of the program<\/p>\n

The objective of a study party is to encourage the students to take more responsibility for their education. And encourage them to help each other and share the education curriculum<\/p>\n

How a study party works for basketball teams<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

  1. We\u00a0 select a game from your schedule<\/li>\n
  2. Visit the school and teach a group at your school the half time show routine<\/li>\n
  3. We\u00a0 visit the school that you will be playing and teach a group at their school the half time show routine<\/li>\n
  4. The routine is partner orientated<\/li>\n
  5. On the day of the game the students will partner with students from the rival school and perform\u00a0the show<\/li>\n
  6. The students will also receive a study party card that \u00a0they will\u00a0list their classes and social networks \u00a0on and\u00a0exchange cards with \u00a0their partner<\/li>\n
  7. The Hoopshots ballers models and guest celebrities \u00a0will mentor\u00a0students \u00a0about the entertainment industry and participate in the show with them<\/li>\n
  8. The students\u00a0will walk away from the event with\u00a0\u00a0a new educational friend<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
