  1. Why can't I submit to casting notices?

  2. In order to maintain a high level of service to our members and our industry counterparts, we require you to be a premier member to respond to casting notices. Exposure is everything, through Hoopshots you can get direct exposure to casting directors, producers, and artists. Unlike some other sites, we are here to make YOU money and help you BOOK jobs. If you are already one of the thousands of Hoopshots Members, CONTACT US AT THE LINK ABOVE with your name and username, and we will upgrade you to premier membership. If you can't afford premier membership, e-mailFEEWAIVER@HOOPSHOTS.TV and check the auto-reply with instructions.

  3. I don't remember my username or my password. What should I do?

  4. If you registered with a legitimate email address your username and password can be sent to you. Just click on any "Lost password" link you find and enter the email address you registered. Your username and password will be sent as long as the email address you enter is found in your files. You cannot enter a different email address from the one that you registered.

  5. I joined but never received an activation code

  6. There are a number of reasons you might not have received your activation code. You might have given us a wrong email address, the mailbox associated with the email address you registered is over it's allowed quota, you have a spam filter in place that is rejecting the email. These are just some of the reasons you might not have received your activation code. You can try clicking "Resend Activation Code" to resend your activation code; however, if the reason you did not receive the activation code is one of the above you are not likely to receive it even when it is resent. Please contact the admin if you cannot activate your membership. The admin can activate your membership for you.

  7. I submitted the activation code you sent me in the mail and it says it's wrong or invalid.

  8. If you have had the system resend your activation code, the new code sent is not the same as the first code your received. Please make sure you are entering the most recent activation code sent to you. If you are entering the correct code and still having a problem , please contact the admin.

  9. I picked the wrong profession when I registered. How do I change my profession?

  10. Enter your username and password into any login form to be logged into the site. Select the "Change Profession" link from the applicable navigation menu. Select your correct profession and submit the form to change your profession.

  11. How do I upload pictures to my portfolio?

  12. After you have logged into the site, click the "Edit My Pics" link from the applicable navigation menu. You will see a form that looks like the form below:
    Click on the "Browse" button to find the picture you want to upload, select the picture then click "Upload". Assuming the file is in the correct format it will be uploaded to your account. To upload more another picture simply repeat the steps.

  13. How do I add information to my portfolio about my skills, work interests, professional status, experience level, travel terms, union affiliations etc.

  14. After you have logged into the site, click the "Personal Profile" link from the applicable navigation meny and fill out the form to submit your information. Upon submission your information will become immediately accessible to anyone viewing your portfolio.

  15. How do I add information to my portfolio about my physical stats such as hair, eyes, ethnicity, height, weight etc.?

  16. After you have logged into the site, click the "Physical Attributes" link from the applicable navigation menu and fill out the form to submit your information. Upon submission your information will become immediately accessible to anyone viewing your portfolio.

  17. How do I add information to my portfolio about past work I've done?

  18. After you have logged into the site, click the "Edit Work History" link from the applicable navigation menu and fill out the form to submit your information. Upon submission your information will become immediately accessible to anyone viewing your portfolio.

  19. How can I add some information about myself in my own words to my portfolio?

  20. After you have logged into the site, click the "About Me/Bio" link from the applicable navigation menu and fill out the form to submit your information. Upon submission your information will become immediately accessible to anyone viewing your portfolio.

  21. How do I change my email address

  22. After you have logged into the site, click the "Change email address" link from the applicable navigation menu and fill out the form to submit your information. Upon submission your information will become immediately accessible to anyone viewing your portfolio.

  23. How do I change my username and/or password?

  25. I don't want to receive any newsletters or email news/announcements that are sent out by this website

  26. After you have logged into the site, click the "Preferences" link from the applicable navigation menu. Uncheck the box next to "Yes, send me news by mail". This should prevent you from receiving newsletters and news/announcement emails from the site. If you continue to receive such emails even though you have unchecked the box in preferences, contact the administrator to report the problem.

  27. I don't want anyone rating my portfolio. How can I prevent this?

  28. After you have logged into the site, click the "Preferences" link from the applicable navigation menu. Uncheck the box next to "Yes, allow people to rate my portfolio". This will prevent anyone from rating your portfolio

  29. I don't want anyone adding comments about my individual photos. What should I do?

  30. After you have logged into the site, click the "Preferences" link from the applicable navigation menu. Uncheck the box next to "Yes, allow people to post comments about my pictures". This will prevent anyone from rating your portfolio

  31. I don't want anyone adding feedback/comments about my portfolio. What should I do?

  32. After you have logged into the site, click the "Preferences" link from the applicable navigation menu. Uncheck the box next to "Yes, allow people to post comments about my portfolio". This will prevent anyone from rating your portfolio
