NOVEMBER 16th 2013

On Behalf of Hoopshots TV and all of our members we would like to thank the Staff At Dorsey High School for allowing Hoopshots Students Becoming Teachers Mentor ship program  to participate in the Alumni Basketball Extravaganza , and that is exactly what it was . Their were 5 games including a celebrity game that yours  truly Victor Battle was allowed to play in I even caught a dunk it was lots of fun.

The Hoopshots  Half time show was during the girls varsity vs. Alumni girls game the adults were victorious however the students never gave up.

The students won the Varsity boys  vs. the Alumni men game  they were just too fast great job in preparing your team coach.

I would like to extend a special thanks to coach Sherlett Newbill she treated Hoopshots  with the utmost respect such a hard worker and so dedicated to the students . She gave us the JV girls and coach Chris gave us the JV  boys for the  halftime show.  They put on a excellent show and had a blast I hope to do another  game with them during the season.

Big ups to my Hoopshots model mentors for attending rehearsals and the events your selfless attitudes are Paramount to the success of the program

The objective of a study party is to encourage the students to take more responsibility for their education. And encourage them to help each other and share the education curriculum

How a study party works for basketball teams

1. We  select a game from your schedule
2. Visit the school and teach a group at your school the half time show routine
3. We  visit the school that you will be playing and teach a group at their school the half time show routine
4. The routine is partner orientated
5. On the day of the game the students will partner with students from the rival school and perform the show
6. The students will also receive a study party card that  they will list their classes and social networks  on and exchange cards with  their partner
7. The Hoopshots ballers models and guest celebrities  will mentor students  about the entertainment industry and participate in the show with them
8. The students will walk away from the event with  a new educational friend
